Get a free taste of The Skills Service

Financial and professional businesses in the Leeds City Region can benefit from the next Skills Café event hosted by The Skills Service on Thursday 18 July.

Following the successful, inaugural Skills Cafe in June which was aimed at digital businesses, The Skills Service wants to offer SMEs in this sector a flavour of the training available from the Skills Catalogue. This training is available with 40% funding through the European Social Fund for SMEs in the region.

The topic of the workshops are based on the skills that are most in demand in the jobs being advertised in the finance and professional sector; ‘HR for Non HR Managers’ and ‘Customer Service and Sales - Top Ten Tips’. The workshops will take place at Avenue HQ on East Parade in Leeds City Centre at 9am and 10am. Businesses can book up to two places per workshop for per company.

Customer Services and Sales (9am) BOOK

Client Marketing, a contracted training provider of The Skills Service will run this workshop on how to improve your sales and customer service for free, by using 10 ‘top tips’. This taster workshop is a great introduction for anyone working in a client facing role within the finance and professional services sector in the Leeds City Region.
