First Sustainable Development Goals training

No description available

As part of the Strategic Development Fund from the Department of Education the first 'Learning Influencer' training began in October, led by Shipley College.

This training will aim to embed Sustainable Development Goals into our West Yorkshire partner colleges through a train the trainer model that will extend to all colleagues.

Sustainable Development Goals will also be formally considered in the curriculum planning process to ensure that ultimately, students in West Yorkshire have the knowledge and awareness to make a difference in their workplace.

This project will be funded until March 2023, but the actions will continue long into the future and colleges will continue to collaborate as part of The Green Consortium to embed sustainability in FE.

The colleges involved in the SDG training are Bradford College, Calderdale College, Kirklees College, Leeds College of Building, Leeds City College, Notre Dame Sixth Form College, Shipley College and Wakefield College.
