The Skills Service makes investing in staff a reality for Castleford-based Hagen Group
The pet products manufacturer’s training programmes began at the end of March 2019.
Phil Parkinson, Finance and Operations Director at Hagen Group said:
“I’m a strong believer in investing in our staff and have been signed up to a movement called ‘Be The Business’ for a couple of years, which is all about productivity through people. The Skills Service fits perfectly with this ideal and allows it to become a reality. This kind of project makes our country stronger and I wholeheartedly agree with the concept and the work of The Skills Service.
“David (skills advisor) has been exceptionally helpful and is well informed about the courses available and the team’s needs. He made the process seem very easy and made me wish we’d done this years ago!
“The training we have arranged will be trans-formative for our business and we’re delighted to be working with The Skills Service.”
