This course provides awareness of the main causes of accidents in warehouses, and the actions to reduce the risk of these incidents occurring. It helps your staff to understand and be more aware of the environment they work in. It covers:

  • Proper procedures for the identification of hazards in the workplace
  • Common methods for eliminating or reducing the risk of harm
  • General forklift safety issues
  • Vehicular and pedestrian traffic management
  • Loading docks and communication with visiting drivers
  • Fire safety and evacuation procedures
  • Causes and prevention of slips and trips
  • Minimising the risk of harm from working at height
  • Safe storage practices
  • Manual handling and musculoskeletal disorders, and mechanical aids and ergonomics
