Getting the right people in the right place is crucial. Get it right, and your job is that much easier, but if you make the wrong selection, then you are faced with a more difficult challenge which can take up a lot of your time and energy. It covers:

  • Legal issues relating to recruitment and selection – a brief overview
  • Setting criteria (essential and desirable)
  • Interview planning and interview techniques, including questioning
  • Making your choice

On successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate of attendance from Tyro Training.

If your organisation is based in North Yorkshire it must be working in one of the following sectors to be eligible for funding through The Skills Service: manufacturing (except food), transport and logistics, digital and creative, business and finance, medical technology or retail.
