Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism: A Fresh View - 1620

Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism – how to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy based on the principles of the 7 P's of Marketing. Starting from a blank canvass to a fully developed marketing strategy, attendees will learn how to:

Research and target their marketplace, inc. competitor analysis,
  • the importance of the customer’s viewpoint and quality of service,
  • development of marketing messages and mission statements,
  • establish strong branding,
  • how to develop and track action plans and control processes,
  • determine resources (internal and external),
  • manage stakeholder engagement, PR and Social Media,
  • implement effective budgeting and control,
  • control timeline and project planning,
  • and how to measure and monitor success
  • The course commences with a full day session covering all of the above elements, concluding with several take-away exercises for the attendees to work on. This is followed after 2 weeks by two half-day sessions, where attendees will review with the tutor their completed exercise work and start to prepare an outline plan that they can take back in to their business to develop further.
