Selling online can be extremely profitable and with more and more people now shopping on the internet there has never been a better time to get involved. This one-day course will introduce you to everything you need to get started and show you the options you have to reach your target audience. The course will cover online retailing on a number of platforms including eBay and Amazon and will also focus on e-commerce websites for you to sell direct. It covers:

  • Introduction to E-commerce
  • How to sell online without a website
  • How to start selling on ebay
  • How to start selling on Amazon
  • Setting up your own e-commerce website to sell online

There is no formal assessment for this course.

If your organisation is based in North Yorkshire it must be working in one of the following sectors to be eligible for funding through The Skills Service: manufacturing (except food), transport and logistics, digital and creative, business and finance, medical technology or retail.
