Communication Skills Craven College - 360
Effective communication of messages and information is essential for any business. It is one of the most important skills required by all staff, and especially managers and supervisors. The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge, skills and confidence to communicate effectively with a range of people.It covers:
- Importance of effective communication
- Barriers to effective communication
- Questioning skills
- Active listening skills
- Non-verbal communication (body language)
- How to use feedback to check effectiveness of communication
There is no formal assessment for this course.
If your organisation is based in North Yorkshire it must be working in one of the following sectors to be eligible for funding through The Skills Service: manufacturing (except food), transport and logistics, digital and creative, business and finance, medical technology or retail.
