City And Guilds Level 2 Award In CAD (Parametric Modelling) York College - 429
This unit aims to deepen the learners’ understanding of the CAD Parametric Modelling environment and its application. It will enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills to create sketches, work features, table-driven parts and assemblies, understand constraints and be able to create a drawing layout.
The course is taught using SolidWorks software, in which the tutor has over 8 years of experience. A number of students have successfully completed the course using an alternative piece of software called Inventor, which is very similar, but the tutor has less experience in this area.
