CG Plastering (Level Two): North West Skills Academy - 1646

258 Guided learning hours - Delivered on site or workshop situations including practical and theory training / underpinning knowledge skills development leading to qualification achievement. The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in these mandatory units:

-Applying Finishing Plaster to Prepared Surfaces in the Workplace

-Producing Internal Solid Plastering Finishes in the Workplace

-Applying Solid Render to Background Surfaces and Producing Finishes in the Workplace

-Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace

-Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace

-Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in one of the following optional units:

-Installing Direct Bond Dry Lining Systems in the Workplace

-Laying Sand and Cement Screeds in the Workplace

-Applying Projection Plaster and Render, and Maintaining Equipment in the Workplace

-Installing Mechanically Fixed Plasterboard in the Workplace
